Why should Traffic Police be on the roads?
The road safety charity ‘Brake’ have launched a new campaign ‘Police our Roads!’. Their aim is to get better resourcing of road safety enforcement agencies. They say that ‘The number of police officers with responsibility for road policing duties has fallen over the past decade despite the consistent increase in traffic volumes over this period.’ As part of their work they help and support those that have been bereaved or injured on the roads…
